Yassas! (Hello in Greek)
We are a family of 5 from the UK. Our family consists of husband and wife Joel and Anna our 2 sons Frankie and George and our daughter Nellie.
Where did it all start
It all started for us back in 2009 when our eldest son Frankie was 10 years old and our then youngest child (George) was 10 months old. We walked into our local travel agents with the intentions of booking a family holiday to one of the Greek Islands, we had one Island in particular in mind. We eventually walked out all booked to visit a completely different island and one that we had never even heard of (Kefalonia)

That family holiday was the start of something very special for us.
Fast forward to 2017 and back home in good ole Yorkshire after one of many visits to the island and Joel came up with the idea of creating a Facebook group for other people like us who love Kefalonia and let's say are a little obsessed, the same as us! So the group was created thousands of photos shared, millions of interactions were made and that was the start of Kefalonia By Us!
So where are we now?
The group has grown quite a bit since then, we have now gone a step further and had this website created to promote the beautiful island of Kefalonia. So if you are wanting a little inspiration why not take a look at our collection of villas and apartments across the island, our recommended car hire companies run by local people, our recommended boat trips and excursions and some of the outdoor activities on the island. Also take a look at some of the fabulous restaurants and pretty little tavernas and then explore our list of must visits and things to do whilst in Kefalonia.
Some may say never go back to the same place twice, we disagree!
